Windows 10 Build 10158

Microsoft exec Gabe Aul announce this latest build today on the Blogging Windows site. At this point, all of the major new features have been added, and from now on, Windows Insiders will see stability and UI improvements as well as minor tweaks. For example, in this build, like Windows 10 mobile build 10136, Microsoft’s new browser is branded as Microsoft Edge and no longer Project Spartan. It has received several new features, too. Improvements like enabling a Home button, importing bookmarks from other browsers to Edge, new customization for the New Tab page, a dark theme (which was a top request), and a lot more.

Other changes to note are that Cortana is in its final stage and integrates with Office 365. The Photos app has been updated with helpful new features. And if you’re a fan of the Snipping Tool (remember that?), it got a five-second delay feature.

We’re nearing the finishing line for Windows 10 everyone, and if you are a Windows Insider, and want to see any changes, make sure to send your suggestions to Microsoft via the Feedback app. If you’re not an Insider, but have questions regarding what the Windows 10 release will mean to you, make sure to check out our article: Your Windows 10 Questions Answered.
