Now that the week is coming to an end, it’s time to kick back, relax, and do some science!  Well, simple science that is –let’s not get into anything too crazy.  While some engineers are kicking back and playing the guitar, you could be building a motor using 3 simple ingredients; 1 AA Battery, a small neodymium magnet, and a short piece of copper wire.  Want to learn how? Check out the video below! Maybe you have a hankering to show off some geek-fu, you know, smart-people skills that are mostly useless in conventional life.  Or maybe, you want a really cool centerpiece for your Nintendo coffee table.  Either way, this is a groovy trick that you can do with common-enough items that you might just have some lying around the house.

I just ordered some magnets, so it is only a matter of time until I have spinning wires everywhere.  commence mad scientist laugh MUAHAHAHAHA! Have any of you groovy readers tried this one out before?  Drop a comment below! Comment Name * Email *
