Miss the days of Windows XP when you had easy access to the Run Line from the Start menu? Here’s a quick tip on how to get it on the Windows 7 Start Menu. First, right click the Start Menu and select Properties.

Under the Start Menu Tab click Customize.

Scroll down in the Customize window and check Run Command.

Click the Start menu and you’ll see Run.

Click on it to bring up the Run Line.

If you don’t want to add it to your Start menu, press Windows Key + R to bring it up. This Keyboard Shortcut works in Windows 8 too. Comment Name * Email *
